About the role

Every job has the practical bits: making good after an alarm install, adjusting a door closer, fitting signage, boarding a wall, clearing a plant room so an engineer can work. You'll do those across our sites.

If you want to move into fire door or fire stopping work, you'll learn it on the job alongside our certificated contractors.

What you'll do

  • Small repairs and making good after installs: patching, painting, trunking, brackets
  • Fire door basics, with training: closers, seals, signage and hardware
  • Fitting signage, emergency lighting brackets, cabinets and fixings
  • Deliveries, site set-up and keeping vehicles and tools in order
  • Site photos and notes on our app so the office knows what was done

What we're looking for

  • Hands-on experience as a handyman, maintenance operative or in a trade
  • Tidy, reliable and good with clients on site
  • Full UK driving licence
  • CSCS card, or willing to get one (we'll help)

Good to have

  • Any fire door, carpentry or electrical experience
  • Asbestos awareness training

What we offer

  • Competitive, depending on experience
  • Full time or regular days; van and tools provided for company work
  • Training towards fire door maintenance and fire stopping qualifications

Not every box ticked? If you have the core experience and the right attitude, apply anyway and tell us what you'd need to learn.
